Hi I am getting a new bike and I am having problems deciding, I'm 45 years old 240lbs 6' 2", we do a lot of camping we ride trails and hard pack and also pavement, I would also like to use my bike for going back and forth to work once or twice a week about 10kms one way.
I have a great deal on a Giant XTC 1 tried it out and loved it, but I also like the 29" wheels on the specialized crosstrail comp and wonder if this may be better suited for my riding style.
Will I find a big difference on pavement between the 2?
Any comments and help appreciated.
