Bicycle Mechanics - installed first cassette--- slight wiggle

I've just finished installing my first cassette (dura ace) and notice a slight wiggle on the high gears...Do I need to tighten it more? Can I over tighten? I don't have a torque wrench, but have tightened pretty hard. Any tips greatly appreicated.

How many gears? If its a 10 speed cassette there should be a spacer behind the cogs. There should be no play.

I didn't explain myself well. If you put the bike in a bike stand and pedal, you'll notice that the lowest gears are not spinning perfectly flat. There is a small but noticeable "wiggle"on the gear as it spins...Nothing you can feel when riding, but something you can see by eye...

I think I may just take the wheel in for a pro opinion, but dammit I really hate bugging bike mechanics..I'm trying to learn how to take care of my own bike alone and I really thought replacing a cassette would be simple. (Seemed easy enough)

The teeth on the cogs are designed so they appear, some of them, to lean this way and that. To a casual observer this may appear as a 'wiggle.' But it's just the teeth helping you shift between gears by coaxing the chain up or down.

Could this be what you're seeing?

That probably falls within the range of normal. Try comparing it to other bikes.

How many of the cogs are fixed to a carrier on a Dura Ace? (I've never had the pleasure of owning Dura Ace). I'm assuming the xx largest diameter cogs are fixed to a carrier. Can you wiggle or feel any play if you were to grab the largest cog and try to move it?

No wiggle when I try to move it by hand. I'll take the wheel to a pro for a second opinion. I dont have a torque wrench and dont want to risk damaging anything...(Dura ace on Kysrium SL rim)

It may be a better idea to learn on a lower end bike. I plan to build a rain bike with the ultegra left over from this upgrade.

I think Panthers got it. It was the first thing that came to MY mind as well.

Its usually 3 cogs put together with a single carrier. I believe its 2 carriers, with 3 cogs in each carrier, and the last 4 are separate cogs spaced with plastic or metal spacers.

Check to make sure you threaded the lock ring on the freehub body properly. I sure hope you didn't crossthread it..
