This morning I was faced with a 100 yard long obstacle path. Yes, right there in the bike path was all the furniture needed for an afternoon tea party for 20 people, spread out over a hundred yards. After slowing down, I had to zig/zag my way through the challenge.
My theory is that some kids (thankfully not mine) took it upon themselves to set up lawn chairs and tables along the bike path some time early this morning. Despite the potential danger this poses, it was a nice thought on their part to do something special for us. Whoever did it had to walk on in at least a mile and with the obstacle placement it likely took them the better part of an hour to set it up.
Fun as it was, I did stop and clear a clean, straight, safe pass through the mess. The three other bikers that happend by while I was doing this also had a chuckle about the situation.
How about you? What are your obstacle track stories?
