Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Let's see some photos of 27 inch forks with 700c rims/tires installed on them with a front brake. Working on a project and need some inspiration.

Done.
My 1984 Trek 520. Cantilever brakes, though... dunno if you're looking for caliper brake photos.

1983 Trek 613* The bike was original w/ 27" wheels but I had canti bosses brazed on for 700c. It has a different front rack on it as well.

i don't have a picture, but i built up a trek 400 for my brother. the frame and fork was made for 27" wheels, but i used a 700c wheelset. i used rx100 long reach calipers with 25mm tires and 35mm sks fenders. everything just worked ... until he tried to ride over a pile of bricks and tacoed the front wheel.

Mind you, these came with either 27" clinchers or 700C tubulars back in the day. There isn't much clearance with a 27", though the '61s were supposedly designed for either.
