Damn. That is one cool looking bike. I love the tan tires. Where did you find another one?

I am greatly indebted to stewardmike03 of BF for hooking me up with not just a tan Pariba, but two grey ones + two traditional.

Any plans for the gray ones? Or are you going to store them and wait for the "correct" bike?

Possibly destined for the 1984 Raleigh USA Super Course.

Looking nice... as always.
The bar wrap has definitely grown on me. Looking forward to the finished product. I am a sucker for orange.

But it is not a fixie ;)

Glad you like it. Mind you, V-O Elkhide is destined for the bars - the velvet is temporary.

The best non black or non tan wall tires I've ever seen! I've toyed with the idea of red tires on Sporty or yellow or blue on my new C-Dale--- but I'm just not brave enough! Good for you Kurt!

That bar-wrap should have its own 70's porn soundtrack.

Elk antlers always start out in the velvet stage before the fall rut. Better keep a careful eye on that bike!

Are brake cables and clips the all that are missing? What brake cable housing will you be using?

It looks great, and three cheers for elkhide.

The trick is to dig up a tire with a traditional skinwall and single-color tread. The pinstriped Hutchinsons, for instance, just do not look correct. The Conti GP 4000's, on the other hand, would probably suit your Cannondale quite well - but they're pricey (though I'll attest to the fact that they ride well - I've had a couple).

Brake cables/housing, toe clips (either MKS L w/leather booties, or original Campagnolo), straps, V/O Elkhide wrap (espresso) (http://www.velo-orange.com/elsebarco.html), V/O Gran Cru straddle wire hangers (http://www.velo-orange.com/vocostwiroha.html) and a rear centerpull cable stop with a quick release lever. I have a minty no-name piece that would work for the centerpull cable stop, but it doesn't have a Q/R lever.

I'm hoping to dig up some creme housing, if I'm lucky. Probably won't be lined.

I think I like this bike so much because it is the same colors as my favorite football team.

Go Browns!

I looked at the yellow Continentals at the LBS over the weekend, and they would look very nice on the C-Dale! But at approximately $50 per tire, I told the mechanic I'd wait until the current Vittoria's wore out! He thought that was a wise decision.
