Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

It may seem like a late notice but the Hemet BSC bicycle club in conjunction with the MWP is having a poker run around Diamond Valley Lake. It is a 22 mile run around a mostly wide dirt road with a mixture of sand, gravel and small rocks in some sections.

There will be a pre run around the lake starting at 7am and the regular run will start about 8 am. The entry fee will be $35.00 that will cover parking and a T-shirt.

There will be vendors and prizes and it should be a fun ride. This will be the first annual Diamond Valley ride and part of the proceeds will go to help support the Hemet High School MTB team. Most of us know how hard it is for Schools to get money for after school activities and for locals this will be a chance to do something for the sport and for the kids.

A web site is being built for more information and it should be up and running in a week or so. You can see the page develop and get some information on road and MTB rides at WWW.teambsccycling

It should be a good day to meet some of the riders in and out of this area. I will try to post more information as I get it or you can call The BSC LBS and ask for Tim. 951-658-2676.
