Bicycle Mechanics - help - ebay listing question
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I'm considering bidding on this soon-to-end bike auction, but I don't know a lot about bikes, so I was hoping someone here might give me some advise on whether or not to persue. Thanks!

The seller apparently knows very little about bikes. That is certainly not a 58cm frame. More like a 50cm. It's a 14 speed bike as well. If it fits you (are you 5'4" to 5'8"?), it's a reasonable deal if you get it for under $200. I recently bought a very similar bike on Ebay for $200 though it was upgraded with RSX brifters.
I thought it looked a bit small... glad I checked before speeding up there to see it in person before the auction ends. Thanks a lot!

The ad states that's a 10-spd. bike. I count 6 cogs - making it a 12-spd. I wonder what else they got wrong...? And that's a pretty high price.
I'd say more but the forum software is badly broken at present.

The OP says "I don't know a lot about bikes".
I would not be surprised if the OP and the seller are actually the same person.
