I noticed he isnt in le Tour this year. I remember last year he was considered a contender for the GC early on and had that special "Prince of Spain" painted Pinarello. So, what happened to him / where is he? an injury? Doping scandal? Thanks :thumb:

Banned from racing in Italy, due to suspected drug infractions in Italy, and since part of the tour is in Italy this year, he couldn't compete.
