I returned to Denver and the wife and I did a leisurely ride along the Lee Gulch Trail, right in the heart of Littleton, in SW Denver metro area - with only 6 street crossings.
This is a neat gravel trail, which when combined with the Highline Canal Trail, the C-470 Trail and the Platte River Greenway makes for a nice, easy 15 mile loop.
Six years ago this loop was my first "long" ride. Man, I thought I had gone forever - 15 MILES - WOW! :D
Here is NOra at a "biking" rest stop at Hudson Gardens, on the Platte River Greenway Trail, right near the Lee Gulch trail.
