Here’s mine! I remember flying in slow motion in the air, thinking: ”This is gonna hurt...” And it did. I still have the scars (of course I do, that is what a scar is, isn’t it).

Reminds me of my worst. The difference is instead of the chain coming off it broke: foot plant then face plant. Not a pretty sight. Walked home with loose teeth and crooked nose not realizing my leg was laid open to the bone until my Mother almost passed out after seeing it. Happened many years ago and I still get a tingle every time I gotta honk on the pedals.

When I was about 12, I did a FUBAR, but the only damage was to my front wheel. Have never had a major crash. (I'm knocking on wood as this is written.)

That happened to a mate of mine once in Scotland. We were all going down this forest trail at 40+ mph when he bunny hopped over a small bump and mislanded. One end of his handle bars nearly ripped a b*ll*ck right off. It was horrible...

Soooo many crashes, soooo many scars.

Worst one that ended well, was when I was 12. Full speed on my BMX cruiser and had an old lady pull out of a side street. Locked up the brakes, hit the car just behind the front tire and did a beautiful handplant cartwheel over the car. Landed on my feet on the other side of the car!

Result, destroyed front wheel, $65 replacement, some road rash on my palms when I fell forward, and over $1,000 damage to the Cadillac, and two very scared people (Me and the old lady!)

Honorable Mention:

Racing BMX, jumping a double and the guy beside me gets squirrly and hits my front tire while we are both mid-air. Landed with the front tire 90 degrees and stopped instantly. Caught the handlebar ends directly in the "boys"! They swelled up to the size of grapefuits and I didn't walk the rest of the weekend!

You guys are killing me!!! :p

Those drawings are hilarious! If I made one of my foot injury it wouldn't be nearly as funny, but perhaps I should do one of my first fall...that may be more cinematic. I'll get back to you on that one. Anyway, you guys have me cracking up and cringing in pain at the same time!

Was that a pool of blood in the first drawing? Did the bike land on you afterwards? You need one final frame there!

Durring the crash, i actualy cut my neck open, blood everywhere! It looked bad, but didnt really hurt at all. I didnt notice the cut untill i was trying to de-taco my wheel.

The bike actualy did land on me, the seat landed on the small of my back, that hurt the most, talk about pain! :)

When you used the term "boys" I didn't realize you had them by the box full.

My wife seems impressed.

I was kinda bored last night so I thought I'd sketch my fist major bicycle crash. I Rode a rather steep hill that turned out to be a little steeper than I thought.
I broke my wrist and smacked my dumbass helmetless head pretty hard.

biking at about 50-60km/h down a hill with long grass. Hit some bent over fence which was hinden under the long grass. Went over the handle bars. landed on my back with my head faceing up the hill. Then my old heavy bike comes landing ontop, pining me to the ground or something(couldn't get up)

no blood or anything:)
