There is a new section of paved trail near the I &M canal portage Historical marker on Harlem Ave north of I -55. Has anyone ridden it? I want info on it if you have.

Essentially a mile or so loop; 1/2 paved, 1/2 large loose gravel. The trail does connect to an existing paved trail to the north, follows 47th street W. just past the DesPlaines river, runs north through Cermak Park, crosses Ogden, runs through residential streets in Lyons, and picks up another trail (.4 mi) along Ogden which abruptly ends at 1st Ave. A decent trail to ride with the kids but that's about it. Was hoping it was related to the I&M trail; no such luck.
