Road Cycling - I want an all-carbon with some "spring"

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. (supposed to say "all-carbon fork with spring")

I know I've been going on about this.........

Some of you younger guys have probably never riden with a steel fork,
so I'll explain that when you ride along the road with a typical steel fork,
you can see it bouncing and flexing every time you go over the
slightest bump. This obviously provides considerable front end comfort.....so..........

I want an all-carbon fork that will do everything, especially one that will give
some vertical compliance; not just high fequency vibration dampening, but
some real spring.

Oh yeah, I also want one that's super light (under 450g), is super strong, and
laterally very stiff. :)

I've tried two (oldish) carbon forks (a Profile-Design and some Mizuno thing),
both of which had no spring at all, but were great laterally.

Do any carbon forks have spring and are also very strong, or would getting
spring give me a weaker fork?

You've seen things i've never seen before, nor want to. If you want spring, get a shock, otherwise you'll be happy with a good carbon fork.

Get a nice front suspension mountain bike and ditch your road bike. It sounds like comfort is much more improtant for you than performance.

Nah, I want a fork that feels exactly like my old 531 forks did, but 400g lighter.

Too much to ask? I think so, but I was hoping :(
