Hi everyone,
I'm at the beginning of a build that i'm super stoked about,
but i've run into what i'm sure will be the first of many obstacles.

What I have so far:
Lynskey R330 Ti frame
Alpha-Q carbon fork

I've placed my order for a pair of White Industries hubs:
Front H2 18h
Rear Eno Eccentric 28h (their smallest spoke count in Eccentric)

I had thought that I could obtain Velocity Aerohead rims with this spoke count,
but it turns out that they won't do 18h in silver. I'd like matching F/R rims or at least
from the same manufacturer.

So...anybody have any ideas for rim options?

My default will be:
Front Ksyrium Elite or SL in 18h
Rear Velocity Aerohead in 28h
I'm not crazy about this option.

Btw, I weigh 130lbs. and the rims need to be silver.

Thanks for any advice you might provide ... hoping there's an option
that I've overlooked.

use a 36h rim for the front, skip every other hole, must be radially laced.
If the rim comes in 36h drillings, you can most likely get it in 28h.

just be sure you don't get a 36h rim that has staggered drillings for the eyelets. you want them straight down the middle of the rim. or else it will become offset.

You ought to consider just getting another color (one of the painted ones) and stripping it, and then polishing it with an aluminium polishing compound. Considering that your front wheel isn't something you really ever touch, you shouldn't have to polish it too much. It is rather odd that they refuse to do the 18h in silver..

change rim color, or change spoke count. 20 hole is much easier to find.

btw-White will custom drill you a hub, if you ask nice and pay them a little more. fyi

How does one lace an 18h rim? Seems like it would have to be radial, otherwise you'd have uneven leading/trailing counts per side. Anyone know?

radial or crow's foot.

but it might be very hard, if not, impossible to do a crow's foot on a 18h hub and rim depending on how high the flanges are and the ERD.
