Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - What about ads?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hey, thanks for all the help on the other question - I found that sub category, I see how it works now
But my next question is this - why do a list of ads seem to post below some things and not others? is there a setting that I need adjust, is it a random thing, or does it happen depending on how you post?
Thanks, sorry to be such a problem child

Ah, I see now - I wasn't sure what context the "contributing member" was used in, whether in regards to number of posts or donations - but that lead me to checking out support the forums and now I get it
I have been looking for some kind of general info/FAQ section about the forums but I can't seem to see it if it's there - is there one?

Oh dear God in heaven - I never even saw that - how stupid can a person be? I've been so busy "looking" that I'm not "seeing" - thank you, and thanks for being kind enough not to tell me what an idiot I am

Even after several years, I still find "surprises" on the forum. Learned a new trick about posting pics just this AM!
Why in the world are the ads vertical and not horizontal. The vertical ads don't fit within the layout of the forums at all.... If they were horizontal more people would probably pay attention to them, I just kind of skip over them. The gap is so big it's easy to ignore...
