Like the Jittery Joe's rider that climbs like an angle and trounced what's his face, oh, yeh, Lance Armstrong in the Tour of Georgia? How about the working stiff team of Webcor, and Christine Thorburn getting a spot on the Olympic Team?

How about Altoona coming up in July? I am doing the three-day Women's Cat 3/4 races (where I am fairly certain I will get trounced - my goal being just to finish all three days). Are any of you going?

AnastasiaChristine's a real nice young lady. She came to our club meeting last week and gave us a race report in person! Pretty amazing juggling racing, Olympic training, and being a physician all at the same time. The folks at Stanford Medical Center where she works have been real good at giving her flexibility in her schedule so she can get her training in.

I believe she's talking about races other than the Tour de France that are being held in the U.S. Cascade Classic Stage Race in Bend, Oregon is another one that comes to mind.
