Folding Bikes - Anyone here rides a Bridgestone Moulton?
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

This seperable has piqued my interest, partially because a friend spoke highly of it's ride quality after cruising down a flat road at 40kph
To those who own one, is it a bike that sees frequent usage? Or the occasional event ride? And has the frame held up well? And is it true that this bike only has the Kojaks as options for its tires?

In spirit the Bridgestone is really an update on the original F-frame bike, i would not say it is a sports orientated machine, they are a rare sight on the roads, possibly in part because of the high price, in fact the only one i've seen was being ridden by the great man himself, Alex Moulton.

In Japan, this bike is very popular. Each bike sold here is order made so you have to build up your own special one. Each bike shop that sells them has recommended build ups though. The frame itself goes for $1650 and then add parts (according to my mags). I've only seen old men ride them here because they are expensive! I wish I could get on though.
