Hey Kurt, do you think that Carrera set would be an upgraded to the CLB that I have currently on my Peugeot? If so I think I'd like them :)

I think they were the original or similar to the original set on the PSV-10. I do prefer the CLB's for looks myself.
-Kurt
The later Carrera was Weinmann's attempt to have a brake equal in quality to NR.

I'd say that recessed allen key adjustment killed them off - though I believe this NOS set comes with the tool.

Hey Kurt, I'm going to go home tonight and make sure the reach is right... These are attached via external nut right?

FYI, I've added crankarm lengths.

That 600 crankset is verrrry tempting, but more than I should be spending on my budget-build. I have almost the whole rest of the groupset!

If you're getting a commission on the sales, ebay them man!
Does the shop have any decent yellow or orange saddles? Rolls, Regal, Turbo or similar? I'd even consider modern designs, if they don't have too much advertising on them.

Don't even want to comment on that, but I can think of more than one simile.

None - I am doing it as a favor. That said, this works out better - I simply forward the sales to the shop; he takes care of the packing and shipping, and C&V gets access to the stuff that the shop has.

The red Triathlon is the last NOS, brightly-colored 1980's road saddle that he has (if I recall correctly); along with a lycra blue/red Eddie Bauer thingamabob. The others are either black or BMX saddles.
I'm rather tempted myself to stick that thing on my Guerciotti, but I have an aversion to the word "triathlon."

The only reason I didn't jump all over it is the "Triathlon" ... I hate running...

Sending a PM. Mind you, this is that design with that big fat "spoiler" in the back such as this one:
Just so you know. I know some folks had a bit of a beef with this saddle design when I mounted them on my Raleigh USA machines.

yech! but it's okay I still want it. I'm going to mount it on a certain someone's bike as a joke... but then keep it as a novelty after we've had out laugh, might even display it as a novelty at the shop...
I also became a triathlete this summer :o

Well it's still up for grabs, I think I'll pass based on what I feel is overly expensive shipping. It may be that that is the only method they are willing to use for insurance or whatever, but in anycase it's too much for me.

Hello Anthony,
Let me know for sure - didn't know you decided to pass from your PM.
EDIT: Got your PM. Will keep the saddle up for sale then.

I'm looking for a mid-long reach set of calipers. My current, unsuitable-due-to-lack-of-clearance brakes are shimano 600ex 6208 (http://velobase.com/CompImages/Brakes/0802D92E-98FB-466D-B2B0-AE437C1FAA42.jpeg) and have a max reach of 49 mm. I've very little experience with brakes and cleanences in general, but am pretty sure (after a very rough measurement with fitting and uninflated tube/tire to the rim) that I need something that will cover approx. 65mm. This could be a gorss misestimation.
The reason I explain this is to get advice, but to also express my interest in the deals presented by Kurt. If anybody could help out by describing what worked for your situation, or what I may need to do to determine the salient factors of mine, I'd sincerely appreciate it.
Cheers

Yes, though I have about four people in line:
