General Cycling Discussion - When you're broken....

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Well, I recently got back into bmx and I was looking foward to a weekend of riding....last weekend was cut horribly short by elbow pains from someone whacking it in the hanger with something.....and now this week I have this shooting lower back pain from running for extremely long periods on hard asphalt.....
what does everyone else do besides be sad about not being able to ride when they're broken???

I am recovering from a broken shoulder - 4 weeks in now. I have spent my down time on cycling forums, reading cycling books, and on the insider trainer! I can hardly wait until I am good to go! :)
I complained to my wife for a bit today....lol....maybe I can get some riding time in this week to make up for it...
