When they are tired of you they try to kill you by tripping your feet. When mine are mad, I find that they knock my bikes over or rub all over the chain and then get grease everywhere.

Mine have also been known to gang up and sit on my bike stuff (locks, gloves, tire levers, etc.) right before I head out. They are devious.

And I swear that they release air from my tires on a regular basis.

Pcad is getting bored. Soon he will start a thread with only one letter that will go 10+ pages.

Right under art critic.

The only puzzling part is why they felt a need for a study to confirm what we all know.

he knows who is boss. look at him hide.Aw, it's cute that you think he's hiding when he's sizing up your jugular.

The only puzzling part is why they felt a need for a study to confirm what we all know.Studies that confirm what we all know are the easiest to perform and get the most press.

Just wait until my study hits the papers. Water And Its Effects On White T-Shirts will take USA Today by storm.

Foo is making me appreciate my cats more. Now I love them again. Hell, they're worth it for the sheer entertainment value. They're like paperweights with character.

i love the way people think cats are being affectionate rubbing against people, when they are just marking you as their property. Cats support the slave trade! Seriously, they are evil.

Early this morning at sunrise I awoke to the sound of my neighbor opening and closing his door several times, followed by the sound of footsteps. Later I asked him what all the fuss was about and he said his cat managed to get outside and he had to find it before a coyote did. Since I've lived here (8 years), I can count the number of cats that have disappeared in double digits. Mostly because of naive owners who think their cat is special and won't be killed by coyotes.

Macavity - The Mystery Cat

a poem by T S Eliot

Macavity's a Mystery Cat: he's called the Hidden Paw--
For he's the master criminal who can defy the Law.
He's the bafflement of Scotland Yard, the Flying Squad's despair:
For when they reach the scene of crime--Macavity's not there!
