Hey Ladies and Gents,
Im currently gathering parts for a new MTB. Im looking to build an all mountain rig, but would like it to be capable of some free ride applications. Im looking at around 6 or more inches of travel. Any recommendations? Currently have an 06 Santa Cruz Superlight and looking to take a step, or two, up from that. Its a great bike, but im starting to gain confidence at a rapid rate:thumb: and wanting and bike to handle more sketchy terrain.
So far I have the following components for the build:
-Full SLX drive train (Shifters, derailleurs, cranks, etc.)
-SRAM 990 Cassette
-SRAM 991 Chain
-Sun Ringle Equalizer 31 Wheelset 135x12
-Shimano 8" rotors
-Adjustable Sette seat post w/ WTB Rocket V
-Wellgo DH aluminum pedals
-Avid BB7 brakes
-Stem, handlebars, and other smaller stuff
I still need to get the fork and rear shock, but would have to hold off on those until a frame I decide on the frame.
Thanks a bunch!
