30MPH on flat

I was riding next to my fiance's car totally spinning out, it was great.

32ish
44x17

(Sustained for a rural block.)

30 is very easy (hit it each day i ride... making lights, or merging in traffic, etc)... 31 takes being "fresh"... 32 is when I've been riding a lot lately and feeling good. Pretty spun out at that point.

EDIT: Gear calculator shows about 150-160 rpm
Downhill I've spun at least 180.

49x16 @37.1mph. That was a few years ago. I can't do that anymore.

I've gone faster than that on flat, but only with a strong tailwind, so that doesn't count.

The longest sustained speed I've ever held on a flat road with a fixed gear was 27-32 mph for about 11 miles, but that was in flat-as-a-pancake central IL, through a big stretch of open fields with no stops, with a massive tailwind. Loads of fun. Going back the other way sucked.
