I just bought a Saris Bones 2 bike rack that I tried to fit on our Camry tonight . It worked fine for my men's Trek 7500 hybrid but when I tried to put my wife's womens style Trek 7500 on the rack the bike beam that I have to use to get the bike to fit causes the bike to tilt at an angle bringing the one wheel dangerously close to the pavement.Plus the anti-sway strap does'nt function properly because the end of the bar beam gets in the way.I guess what I need to know is what brand of trunk-mounted rack would work on a Camry for a women's style bike?Or should I get her a new bike.(I hate the bar beam and women"s bike thing). Thanks in Advance.
