Foo - The problem with YouTube

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Anyone who spends time on YouTube will surely notice that the comments left by viewers can often be brutally ignorant. If one feels compelled to rebut something or call someone on their obvious trolling/BS, all you have as weaponry are words. Far more effective at times, I think, are image responses. A picture being a thousand words as the theory. YouTube could use that. Just imagine all the facepalm and internet tough guy images! That would hurt the offender far more than a well thought out reply. Am I right or am I right?

Build yourself a house of bricks and the internet tough guys can huff and puff all they want, but they will never blow your house down.

i want to see OP's video that got poo pooed so badly that he has come crying to the comforting arms of foo.
Umm....anyone else see the irony of this line on the internet? :innocent:Fixed.
uh.... or you could not be bothered by the idiot comments.Even better: There's a Firefox plugin out there (the name slips my mind, Better Youtube, maybe?)) that removes the comments section from Youtube pages.

I literally resize my browser window when I am on YouTube so that I can't even see the comments below the video. It's like they aren't even there.
I stopped reading comments a long time ago when I was watching a piano performance and someone who claimed to be a "piano teacher" was basing their comments on hearing the "original" performance of a Beethoven Piano Sonata......
The internet was truly made stupider the day someone woke up and thought, "I know! The future of the internet is every last goddamn thing having a comments section!"
I wish I were drunk right now

you can give a thumbs down comment on youtube comments. if it gets enough thumbs down, depending on your filter, it won't be visible.

Didn't say it was me bothered by the ignorant comments, did I? However, I do notice all the attempts by others to "correct" people. Pics would go a long way is all I'm saying.

Foo and BF comments in general are nowhere near the level of ignorance on display over at YouTube where there's no auto-censoring of words, and no moderation/pruning except if the vid owner decides to do so. Most don't because it would take far too much of their time. Or they don't care.

Tweren't my video. Client of mine has a series of vids on the subject of sex and relationships. Do your own search. She's the hot one laying in bed.
