I got a short notice call Sunday, to leave Monday, to go to the DC area for the week. Oh what a lovely opportunity to load up the bike and bring it with me.

2 pairs of cycling socks - Check
2 pairs of cycling shorts - Check
2 jerseys - Check
2 Water bottles - Check

I could get by without everything listed above. Except for the bike, which is hanging nicely in it's stable. I wonder how I'm able to function at times.

You forgot the bike?!?

That's it, you're off my list of cool cyclists.

I always forget things when I travel. One time I went down to Florida to golf with some buddies and forgot to pack underwear. That's ok since I don't wear underwear all the time. The only problem is, I zipped up my John Thursday once. Man did that hurt.

Nah I think this is all a stunt just to unthrone UA. Fail at that too. x136 and CJ are still runners up.

I didn't realize I left it until after I suited up at the hotel and went to the car to get the bike. Instead of riding I just looked like a tool walking around in lycra and goofy shoes.

That is an awesome idea.
Walk around in lycra and sidi's saying ..."now WTF did I leave that bike?" When someone asks..."I put it against a bench in NY's Central Park and went into the coffee shop and now I can't find it". Of course one can't be in NY to do this.

You can use this as an excuse to buy another bike. There is always the "N+1" rule.

Really? The smaller mime does look like it could have a certain magnetic personality; the mama-san, not so much.

You have way too much energy for this, but it's not your fault. It's what we get for putting you in charge.
