Greetings everyone!
I've been bicycling the vast majority of my 20 years on earth, but have only just lately taken a real interest in bikes themselves. As such, I am rather uninitiated all-around.
I ride a hand-me-down Giant Rincon that I outgrew almost as soon as I inherited it 6 years ago. Recently bought an '08 SE Lager frameset to take roading and for general use around campus and home. (I'm no hipster.... around here there is no such thing! In fact the only other fixed-gear in the area is owned by the LBS proprietor.)
I'm waiting on my wheels, and I'm going to order the cog (gonna start with a 44/16) and front brake this weekend. I've been floating around for a couple weeks here, and look forward to absorbing everyone's wisdom!
