hi folks. i was just wondering how riders train for TT type riding. i'm not planning on doing any TT rides, but i was talking to someone about breakaways and whatnot and he said that the people who do well in solo/small group breakaways are people who put in a lot of time training for TT's. but i have no idea how people train for TT's. i know position is important, but since we're still talking about road bikes (just being ridden in a TT fashion) position is more limited. for this type of training, do people just ride long and hard by themselves? continually pushing themselves and never really taking a break? i figure interval type training is probably important for pack riding, but probably isn't all that useful for solo riding. is there some sort of training which is important for TT riding but isn't important for pack riding?
thanks.
