Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I am planning on building a touring bike over the winter, and although many will have their opinions about this, I would like to put bullhorn handlebars on it. I would also like to have bar end shifters. I have no experience with bar end shifters. Is it possible to put them on bull horn bars, or am I setting myself up for headaches and disaster?

Those are Dura-Ace barcons shifting a 2X10 Ultegra drivetrain.

Nice work. If drops aren't part of your touring needs, the set up you've got looks perfect. Shifters, brakes right at your finger tips. Soon as my frame gets out of the paint shop, gonna do the same.
