Foo - Shipping large packages from the UK to the US?

I need to have someone ship a large box from the UK to the US. The box is probably about the same total volume as a standard hard shell bike case, but slightly taller (and not as wide or long). It weighs about 100 lbs or so. I might need to ship two of these to the US. Anyone know the cheapest way to do this? I don't care about how fast it arrives, I just care about cheap.

Cheapest is usally Parcel force worldwide, using the surface service.

Looking at a current map, with some luck, if you pitch it into the sea around Norwich it should travel over the top of Britain and make it to the west coast of Florida in about two to six years.

It will never get there. The gulf stream goes the other way. But not a bad idea for sending to Norway.

The Gulf Stream is part of a big gyre that goes up the North American coast, down the European coast as it cools, and back to North America crossing about mid way down the Atlantic.

I wish i checked this before i sent chocolates to america. the postage was more than the chocs.
