I'm in the market for a used road bike to use for exercise, and found this one on Craigslist. Can someone let me know whether or not this is a good deal? I tried offering $150, but he refused. If this bike is really worth $220 then I'd consider buying it, but I want to make sure I'm not getting ripped off.

It's a good deal. Especially it's Tange 2, Tange 1 was their top of the line stuff. Paint looks good. Indexed shifters. Brake lever hoods are OK.
I am surprised it is still available. Around here, it would have sold already. Sweet looking bike from the pictures.
Paint and frame condition drive value. And those look good. Components look ready to go as well. A test ride will tell you for sure. And its harder to find top end bikes in XL sizes and small sizes. Almost all bike sizes are in the middle sizes. Thats what was sold back when the bikes were new, so thats what shows up on the used market.
