Hello. I am from SW PA. I'm married, 32 and a motorcycle mechanic. I've ridden BMX as a youth, I still have a DK cruiser I like to ride. I also have a cheapo MT.Bike. I've wanted a road bike for a few years, but could never afford one. I recently picked up an older Schwinn road bike very cheap and look forward to getting more into it. I posted a description and picture under the "What road bike do you ride thread?". I am a weight lifter and weigh about 210, so it's going to be an adjustment riding for endurance. I mainly plan to ride the country roads here aroud my house. Thanks.

Mike

I just got over a weightlifting binge, and now I'm focusing more on cardiovascular fitness - it sure is difficult, starting out.

Good luck, welcome.

Thanks! I'm sure I'll have many questions once I get this bike on the road. I have some back brakes coming from ebay and plan to go find some tires tomorrow so I can get riding.

45 miles? Holy cow I'm a long way from that. Heck I rode 16miles one day last week and that was hard, lol. Of course it was on a 24" BMX Cruiser.
