Professional Cycling For the Fans - It's not like Cav didn't tell everyone why he's there,

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I have no clue what this thread is about, but on the topic of Cavendish, yesterday's interview was kinda funny.
The interviewer said: Some have doubted your ability to sprint uphill...
Cavendish: WHO SAID THAT? WHO? THE PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET FORUMS?
Take that, Bikeforums!

Let's see him sprint up Ventoux!
Actually, in the after-win interview he said something to the effect of, "It's just an uphill sprint. It's not Mont Ventoux." ;)

Well he didnt finish the tour last year to prepare for the Olympics, so perhaps some thought he didnt have the cajones to ride a whole tour or something. Hes here for green and stages, so far hes on track in a monumental way.

All the pleebs who are trying to describe the various ways that he might be beat, need to simply go out and find someone in the world who is faaaasssttter than the guy. It's not like these sprints are coming down to bike throws. The guys who would unseat him aren't even able to hold his tire much less pull around along side him. That's Speed!
