Hello Everyone,
I am Dave from Central Mississippi. In my mid-later years I started mountain bike riding during lunch at work to get a little exercise. I finally realized that I hurt myself somehow every time I went in the woods, so switched to road bike about 7 years ago. I bought a Specialized Allez Elite and have put about 5800 miles on it. My best riding year was 2005; I finished the 67 mile option in the Piedmont, AL Cheaha Challenge Century and the whole century later that year at the Birmingham, AL Wheeling for Healing ride. Since then, I've slacked off some, mainly just commuting to and from work during day light savings time.
I enjoy riding and am really glad I found this forum. There looks to be a lot of good information here. I look forward to reading through it!
