I was wondering if anyone could estimate a year on this bike, as well as the components. How do i tell the diff. between super record as opposed to record. It's a great ride, and I'm not looking to get rid of it.

The RD is SR, and the chainrings are SR rings on a "Record" crankset, as there is no difference in the crankarms between NR and SR. Just one of the fun things distiguising Campy's nomenclature of the period.

I'm going to put 1983 out there, but those that know the seatlug timeline will know better. The chrome front fork and rear stays pegs it as their top offering. (Was it the GLX at the time?)

Also check for a date code on your rear derailleur (I think they dated SRs), and on the back of either crankarm.

there is a 3 inside of a circle on the back of the crank arm. guessing 1983

No, it's a Super Record crankset, which consists of Super Record chainrings and Record crank arms.
