I've been riding these rims for a while now and it's coming to the point where I'm going to need to replace the ancient tires that currently reside on the rims. First, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what size rim tape I should use on these rims. Second, I'm planning on putting on a pair of Vittoria open tubulars that run at a size of 700 x 24c, is this going to be a problem? the tires that are on the rims right now are700 x 25c...If anyone can shed some light on the subject for me I would greatly appreciate it.

You need to measure the width of the rim- between the sidewalls. Then use this chart: http://www.sheldonbrown.com/tire-sizing.html#width
to figure out which tires will work. You can also then measure the width of the rim tape, and replace if necessary.

You'll be fine w/24 size tires. The 19 is the mm rim width outside. If you need to replace the rim tape you'll probably use something around 13mm.
