I am thinking about looking at a used cannondale m300. It was bought new in 1996 , one owner, not used much in the last 9-10 years. It is a 20" frame, all stock.

My question is -- are these good bikes? I will be doing city riding, paved trails, etc. I want something easy to peddle and ride.

I am 5'10"-- is a 20 inch frame too much? He is asking 200.00, I believe I can get it for about 165.00. It is supposed to in in great shape.

What to look for?

Any comments or suggestions?

Thanks

Sorry no one else has offered any help. If you don't plan on riding it off road and its in good shape. I would not want to pay more than $125.00 max for the bike. Really $100 would be a decent deal. Your talking about a close to 14 year old bike that had low end components on it even at that time frame.
