I've seen a lot of people with a single Aerospoke on the rear. I've been told that they aren't as strong as spokes and shouldn't have all that torque applied to them.
Why do so many people on here ride them on the back?
^^^^^^^^^^^ it's just a fad. Like ironic trucker hats, but more expensive.

skinny hipsters cant produce that much torque
people ride them on the rear so they can take pictures and post them online (for self-esteem) and occasionally ride in circles in their suburban cul-de-sac.

They do fine in the rear- much stronger than a spoked wheel. When Aerospoke first started making them for track they did have issues with their hubs spinning or stripping but that is long since taken care of. They can handle whatever. We sell dozens of these things and they hold up great.

So I'm assuming the reason why they have them just on the rear is so when they skid people can tell that the wheel is locked up much easierb than compared to a spoked wheel. It looks cooler this way I guess
