Not sure, but ill give it a shot.
The medieval calvary knights were the tanks of their age and looked absolutely terrifying. (think of Georges Oakleys) Their role was to scare and stave off the enemy, as they thundered their way towards ranks of enemy footsoilders, then batter them when they got there.
I would assume that a man who has ridden 15 Tours, a strong man who charges the peleton forwards, leading the way for others to follow to victory.
Lets see, a Knight in armor, a horse in armor with Medieval weaponry, lets see......, lets seee.... mmmm.....what it symbolizes......
Im gonna take a long shot here, but maybe George likes the graphic because he fancies himself an iron knight of the peleton who helped Lance to his wins and now helps Cavi to his wins? ;) :thumb:
