Thank you Sticky for the welcome. I live in Northern Illinois. I own a Trek Navigator 200 but am thinking about something else. I am 54 years old with bad knees (to much fast pitch softball) and aching joints.
I love riding long distances for endurance and weight control. I weigh 260 pounds so I have a way to go but I have lost 15 this summer by lots of riding and golf.
This summer I have developed a lot of problems with numbness in the hands and aching joints, especially with the thumbs. My knee has also bothered me. After much research on the internet I am thinking about a crank forward bicycle.
I have looked at Day 6 but do not really want to spend that much,
I am interested in the Trek Pure series. The Deluxe Lowstep looks like it might be what I am looking for. I would be interested in any feedback members of this forum have on the Trek Pure Deluxe series. I am also interested in what the trade in value of Trek bicycles is if there really is one.
Thank you again and I enjoy this Forum.
