Registration is open!
Expect to see myself and my wife there. Looks like the start will be a block from our house. Just a warning: That's the hilliest region just west of Madison. Expect 8% and more grades over 1/4 mile stretches or more for much of the ride.
I'll make a sign this year.

I am so excited about this ride. It looks like it could be some tough terrain but after the Dairyland Dare I think I'll be fine especially since I'll have the delicious food to motivate me.

I might do this!
I never thought I could at the beginning of the season (I bought my first road bike at the beginning of June), but I rode the '08 Bike the barns route this last Saturday plus some extra miles to make it an even 70, and did fine. It was the longest ride I had ever been on, and I managed to do it in 4 1/2 hours, which isn't terrible...

And just think of the amazing food that will be waiting for you at each stop! The Underground Food Collective is doing the final meal and those guys are some of the best at what they do.

Great ride, great food, great weather. I saw some friends but not Severian. I rode the 5 miles from home to the start so it was a 62-mile day for me. Rode at a slow pace with a friend for most of the ride, plus there were long leisurely stops at the farms and at Elver Park coming and going. So I left home around 7am and got back around 5pm. Man that was a long day in the sun. I over-ate, I am still stuffed. Fat and happy.
