every once in a while, when i'm taking off for a ride, i get an eerie feeling that something is going to break or go wrong with the bike.
got that feeling this morning, as i took off to ride to work.
about 2 miles later, i hit a pothole while avoiding a stupid driver and threw the chain.
luckily, it came off outward instead of into the spokes. coasted to a stop, got out the jethro and got things sorted out.
looks like it slipped it a little bit when i hit the pothole, which in turn de-tensioned the chain just enough to let it come off.
sometimes, i really wish the old trek had track fork-ends so that i could use a tensioner.
