Foo - COMCAST!!!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Stupid freakin' jerks. Right at the end of the days (rather exciting) stage, Comcast decided that was a good time to check the emergency broadcast system. That was bad, but at least acceptable. But then! The jerkwads replaced the Tour with infomercials. :wtf:
I called Comcast and the guy said that it was a station broadcasting issue, even though some people, like those in Michigan, were still watching it. grrrr......

Every year my dish network or directv receiver would go out during the tour. This year I canceled everything and just ride. No idea what is going on and do not care.
Kinda of like when Vs cut off the first stage of this years Tour of California. For bull riding. Which is on every other hour. I felt bad for screaming at the guy that answered the phone when I called them.
But they did learn a lesson, they didn't do it again.
I gave up on watching TV much, seemed like any show I wanted to watch would always get interrupted for some sports special. I was close to calling the statioins and telling them if I wanted sports I'd buy ESPN, but every network seems to be in this big bidding war to get the stupid bowl or somehting else and then put it on in place of their normal shows. Leave the sports on the sports channels and the shows on the other channels, thats why they made channels, if every channel is going to show the same thing then why have more than one channel?

I liked the shot of Jan Ulrich and Marco Pantani's ghost snorting lines of what appeared to be powdered bratwurst at the finish line.

****ing ******* dumb**** crackmonkeys. It's still infomercials. Maybe the channel is actually sports versus infomercials and the infomercials are winning.

That's what you get for being lazy and cheap.
i've heard nothing but bad stuff about Comcrap...apparently their customer service is non existent and they are staffed by f*cktards.

I called Versus and they confirmed that they've had complaints from my area only. It's finally back on, though, so hopefully I can watch it tomorrow.

My Comcast service has gone out twice this week. If I could switch to Verizon, I would.

Threaten that your Mom won't pay the bill if they pull such shenanigans again.

Having at one point worked as a subcontractor for Comcast, I am not surprised by that. They seemed to care about nothing else other than money, and I do mean nothing else.
