Hello everybody!
I need help on this bike, my brother found it a local thrift store, he said it was in ok condition but it was 200 dollars. I just want to know if you guys can ID this bike and do you think it is worth 200 bucks.
TIA
Hopefully this pic will work

Standard aluminum frame Cannondale, downtube shifters, decals say around 89-91. Fork is either aluminum or steel. From the not so good pics it does not look like a carbon fork. Selle Itallia saddle is low end, not real valuable but it looks cool. In good condition, ready to ride, if it does NOT need new tires, chain, etc, target $200. You can try for more, but when you get close to $300, unless you're in a super hot bike market, you'll be looking at it a long time.
EDIT: I just noticed the single pivot brakes so make that a pre-91 bike and not as desirable. The pics don't show one of the key items to estimate a C'dale, the rear drop outs. Assuming it's cantilever, I'll stick with the $200 but the $300 mark is looking even more remote.
EDIT: Appears to be a 1988 SR700. Nice bike, but with Suntour 7 speed, let's hope you don't have to replace the freewheel.

Cool and thanks for the reply! I think I'm gonna pass on the bike because it's $ 200 at the goodwill. My brother sent me the pics cause he thought I might be interested.

seeing that its not a touring...this bike is only good as a commuter. if this bike was in nyc 200 bucks cant go wrong but other than that 200 is a reasonable price. a person can easily get rid of this bike for 300+ in ny
