Good day Here , I am Retired now from a career at sea spanning 45+ years trying to get into riding once again , I still have my old MKM and its a great road machine had it rebuilt several times through the years iv had it.. built in the 70s . Cureous here if theres any one still even remembers these frames. Or that grew up in the San Diego are as i did and might remember Threshold Bikes or Frank Appell in Old town He was a great old guy built some fine machines . And built mine back then . Anyhow this is the first time using one of these Forums and not quite sure how anything works or who reads this stuff. But anyone has any remarks thats fine. im not a young guy any more but manage to get up these hills around here when they get in front of me . Riding is good for anyone and a good way to keep fit and ready for the ski season that has just ended.Hiking time ariveing about now. Ah well im outa here for now ....Frank......out

I ride my Old MKM and its a fantastic bike made in the mid 70s overhauld several times and the running gear wil stand up and has to any bike iv riden with . I have considerd geting a newer LeMond bike several times here lately , But im 68 years old now and my trusty MKM has goten me up and down a lot of roarways in the 40+ years so think ill just keep it , Anyone else ride one of these old machines and like to hear if anymore are on the road still . This one has goten a lot of admireation through the years and keeps on going strong..Like to post a photo but dont know how on this site. So anybody know how id like to hear it . Hay have a G'Day out there.

Posting picture can be done by clicking on "Manage Attachments" when posting a message.
They can also be shown inline if you host them on another site, by using the Insert Image icon at the top of the compose window using a URL.
Be sure to stop by Classic & Vintage, that is a pllace where people admire the older bikes (I hang out there too).
