Northeast - K street traffic

SillAisle, your post reminded me to check the date of the 50 State Ride and it's tomorrow! The ride is sold out, but I might try to ride it anyway. Are any of you doing this ride?

Another rainy day today. I still hate the rain, but I love my SPD sandals and my disc brakes!

It's been three months since he last posted. Hope he's doing ok.
If I hadn't lost my camera, I'd be posting more pictures from my rides.

Hmmmm- ok. I'll do that. I might have made myself unsearchable. I don't often let people into my facebook accounts, so I don't have a ton of people friended and stuff. Happy New Year, buddy! Maybe we can go riding sometime over the summer while I'm on school break (mostly, that is!).

Summer sounds good.
Last August I met up with qsmdc15 for a monuments by moonlight ride. Lots of fun, so I want to do that ride again.

Nothing that thrilling, just a New Year's Day ride at Hain's Point and then a loop around the Mall.

It's riding season and it's time to start posting on the DC thread again.
First of a couple of planned cherry blossom rides today.

MVT, 14th St Bridge, MLK Memorial
Tidal Basin, McPherson Square
Rock Creek Trail, Oak Hill Cemetery

Last Friday - Cherry Blossom ride to Kenwood, then I stayed around DC to ride the Monuments by moonlight.

I got out Sunday and decided to try CapitalBikeShare with my free day from Arlington County. Visited some of the same sites as in your pics. Kind of nice not having to worry about locking up the bike - just click into the rack at the bike station, and off I went. For someone not really familiar with the locations of bike stations, it took a little searching to find one when I was ready to stop, or when I was ready to take another bike and ride. But I did okay.
