OK - today one of our local riding groups (North Atlanta Riding Club) go together for a ride at Barnsely Gardens area. We did about 50 miles. I remember last year during the NARC rides I was definitely the slowest rider. This time I was able to stay with the group - even managed up towards the front so I could be surrounded by the group to feel better mentally and physically with some of the drafting....

We ended at the Beer garden and someone bought me a (light) beer for being most improved rider. Same woman who told me I was getting skinny. OH hallelujah (though weight has been around the smae for months...so she may be delusional...but hey it felt good to hear)

Avg 16.2 Yup - woo hooo!!! 50+ miles.

Lean muscle is heavier than the stuff you lost. Congrats on your improvement!
