Classic & Vintage - Need some help in identifying a bike please...

I am trying to trade my 19 inch Pinarello Asolo frame for a larger frame and somebody approached me with an offer. I have a picture of the bottome bracket. It says Cinelli on it, and I have read that Cinelli has made a lot of bottom brackets for other bicycle manufacturers. It has Campy dropouts and on the forks and it is stamped Gublito. Has anyone heard of this name before? Here are a few pics. Thanks everyone in advance for any input.

In addition to making frames, Cinelli made bottom brackets. Lots of them. They were used by hundreds of different framebuilders all over the world.

Those are two nice photos, but it's almost suspicious that he shows only those very small bits of the bike. He may have an excellent frame but is ignorant of its actual worth so sticks the parts with the well known names out there. Or it could be a pile of junk and those are the only bits that look good. Likely it's somewhere in between. Let us know what you find.

Well, the filing on the dropout joints looks pretty nice. Sure the fork doesn't read Giubilato?

A small (19") high end frame around here would command a premium over more common sizes (21 and 23 inch).

Thanks so much for the replies so far...It is Giubilato...He just sent me a link to the posting of his framethe frame...Here it is. He did say it is Columbus SLX, my Pinarello is Columbus Cromor. I do need a larger frame, but don`t know if it is worth it for this frame. My frame is in almost new condition, but I know SLX is a better tubing then Cromor. Any thoughts? I will be making my decision based on your replies...Thanks!

Don't make any decisions based on my comments, because I don't really know that much about either frame. However, that Giubilato does appear top notch, better than the other Giubilato frames posted on BF previously. It also appears fully chromed, with chromovelato paint finish, which looks great, but may be prone to paint flaking? You'd have to ask a painter about that.

Do some research on your Cromor tubing vs. SLX. It's possible Cromor is better for larger frames, as I've heard SLX can be somewhat whippy, especially for heavier riders. But you need to confirm that with another source!

From a value perspective, I think the Pinarello has the name going for it, and the Giubilato has the tubing going for it, so I don't think you'd be losing value on the trade.

Oh, and you should confirm it's actually SLX. The seller didn't include a photo of the tubing decal. It's also possible on a larger frame like this that it has mixed tubing (SL or SP for seat tube and downtube, SLX on the top tube and seat stays) which would make it less flexy. But an SLX decal definitely gives it greater cachet.
