Pacific Northwest - Tour de Kitsap - anyone done it?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Curious how the course was, organization, etc.?

I did the TdK 100 last year. I highly recommend it.
While the food selection at some of the stops isn't all that great, the low entry fee and route scenery give the rider more value than Flying Wheels or the Seattle/Factoria Century rides.
I've done so many different rides whose routes often overlap that without a course map in front of me, I can't, with 100% certainty, give a very detailed ride report. I can say that I never got lost due to poor directions/markings, and had a great time.
I can't speak for how the shorter routes were, but on the 100 miler there weren't tons of other cyclists, making it somewhat peaceful.

I prerode the north route this last saturday with a bunch of other west sounders.
Triple set of downhill S curves, back country roads under shady tree canopies. Rural Kitsap homes and farms. Views of the Sound and the Canal. Short climbs, interesting desents.
This is a hidden jewel of a ride. And the price is outstanding.
This is put on by West Sound Cycling Club, smallest of all the local clubs so it really has a nice local feel to it, the routes are old west sound club favorites and have been rode by us for years.
Not that I'm predudiced or anything....

Sounds like the kind of ride I like. Looks like mtn biking both days this weekend though, but will definitely put this on the list for next year.
