Professional Cycling For the Fans - What's a TDF rider's typical post-race routine?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
So you finish a stage. Your legs feel like there's hatchets deeply imbedded in them. Your lungs, perforated and on fire.
What's your routine between now and hitting the sack?
Hydrate, shower, massage, eat, team meeting, hydrate, massage, stretch, hydrate, blog, tweet, eat, hydrate, change into your jammies and hit the sack?
And what do you suppose they eat post-race?

1. Potential doping test
2. Ride back to the team bus if not held for doping tests
3. To the hotel..shower, massage...eat...sleep.
Pretty dull stuff
If held for doping you get a ride to the hotel in the car.
Doing as little as possible is the rule.

You take some more drugs that can't be detected for the next days ride.
Tomorrow's a rest day = party with young nubile TdF groupies all night!

nobody said those groupies had to be women... some guys might be into that... so much thigh... so little spandex :innocent:
I would expect that they would eat some kind of food or a plate of pasta even before taking a shower or massage. A good portion of food must be taken in soon after the body cools down and within an hour of hard exercise to get the maximum recovery effect.
So most likely they ride back to the bus or hotel at a slow cool down pace while drinking a lot of water. Then go in and eat a large pasta dish. Then do the shower and massage and eat a full meal again. Probably in bed by 9-10 on race nights.
