I was looking at this, my Cateye Astrale 8 died, and the New Cateye Wireless units seem to not be available for while. So i was thinking of one of these. Does anyone have any experience, etc with these

I have it. I absolutely love it. The altitude gain function is cool, tells you how much climbing you did. The gradient feature is awesome as well. On top of that it does all the other stuff a computer should do. Heart rate, countdown timers, stopwatch, speed, distance, etc. The only complaint I have is the mount for it. My computer has flown off twice now because of it not sticking or cracking. Of course I have taken it down a pretty crappy downhill at least once a week that probably would have rattled anything loose. Other than that I am very impressed by it. I like it also because it doesnt look like a watch you stuck on your bike, a la Polar. Plus, not every one has these. If you have any more questions just ask.

Search the forums, there is a lot on them. The other popular one in the same league is the Polar 720i.

I've looked into them a bit, but don't have the disposable income right now...
