It was 1 am, converting my old steelie to 10 speed for a ride in the morning. Got the brifters on, installed a very lightly used cassette, new chain etc ..... Everything looked ok on the workstand.

6 am, quick little spin down the street to check adjustments ..... gears are good except skipping in just 1 gear ... odd .... maybe the cassette was more worn than I thought and I should switch to a new cassette. Take off the wheel, insert the tool ...... OOOPS .... I put the cogs on wrong ... 12,13,14,15,17,16,19,21,23,25 ..........
